Close Look Collections offers a new way of getting up close with history, using digital exhibits from the Royal Pavilion & Museums in Brighton & Hove.
While our physical museums are shut due to the coronavirus outbreak, each day we’ll post a new digitised object from our collections to this website. We’ll encourage you to zoom in on the image and enjoy some of the small details in the work. Sometimes we’ll tell a story about the item; other times we’ll provide an analysis of elements you might overlook. Occasionally, we may even take a more playful approach.
